The owner and his dog is really nice 😁 There is an Indian food truck nearby that had really delicious food. But also the Seaview Restaurant ist pretty good!

If you want lockable doors then this might not be the place for you

Location was excellent to walk into John o Groats centre. Gordon was an excellent host and his dog was vey cute. The room was comfortable and the kitchen had good facilities availalbe to use.

"A Home From Home with great Scottish hospitality"

Gordon welcomed me and made sure I had everything I needed including arranging dinner for me at a nearby restaurant. After a very long driving day this was very much well received. The room was spacious comfortable clean with a lovely view.

"Disgusting place!"

Sweet old man as host - but maybe he isn´t able to run the business any more

Digusting place - dirty and no hygiene. Especially bathroom and carpets. In entrance area owner´s dog pissed on carpet. Mould was on ceiling and wall corners and nearby the windows in our room. We only didn´t left because there was no vacancy in whole John o groats. The owner seems to know this when setting the prices for this accomodation.
