"Jewel in the crown"

Very warm welcome from the hosts. The room was perfect, warm, clean and tv rising from the foot of the bed! Breakfast was fantastic. The couple were very helpful and informative. The India restaurant opposite is great.

Wonderful hosts Fantastic full English breakfast with quality ingredients Great location - on the edge of town with lots of nice places for food Plates, cutlery and microwave available so you can eat in your room Felt very cosy and safe as a solo female traveller Have booked again for next year

We were made to feel welcome right from the start. Warm bedroom and an extremely comfortable bed . The full English breakfast was delicious. Jim and Ann are excellent hosts.

We wished we could have stayed longer

"A gem of a find with lots of character, run by hosts that are very welcoming"

The full English was excellent with quality bacon, sausage and black pudding. Excellent customer service and nothing was too much trouble.
