"I felt totally at home and comfortable."

It is a beautiful house. My room was large and very well equipped. The food was excellent. The house was beautifully furnished in the old style and the staff were friendly and helpful.

At first I found the large room a bit chilly in a cold February but with the help of the landlady we soon put that right.

You would need a car as public transport is limited nearest town was Abergavenny.
