Baglio Giammaccaro

This property of Stefano and Joseph’s creation (11yrs now, from scratch) is enchanting. If you can’t find absolute Zen here, you can’t anywhere. The mountainous backdrop to their incredible garden, with its many lounging nooks and crannies and 14m pool are in the stratosphere of excellence. And your two hosts are fabulous people who care.

Un séjour inoubliable dans un véritable petit paradis ! Stefano et José sont parmi les personnes les plus accueillantes et chaleureuses que nous ayons rencontrées ils nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous. Le jardin est absolument magnifique, soigné avec goût, et la vue depuis la piscine est tout simplement incroyable. Le petit déjeuner, préparé maison avec beaucoup de soin, était délicieux et a rendu notre séjour encore plus spécial. Tout était parfait du début à la fin. Sans aucun doute, l’un des plus beaux endroits que nous ayons visités. À recommander les yeux fermés !

Stefano and José are amazing hosts! Baglio is so amazing place, just to be relax and enjoy! Breakfast amazing and made every morning! Jacuzzi, hammock, and my favorite, the swimming pool! Bicycles at disposal to stroll by the sea. Hope to go back to Baglio and thanks a lot for everything!

Stunning location close to amazing beaches, Zingaro reserve and everything North/west Sicily has to offer. We loved the Dolomites type landscape of the area . The property is beautiful, gardens amazing , the facilities, the pool was heaven . Stephano and Joseph are wonderful hosts.

We stayed at Baglio Giammaccaro for 3 nights in June and it was unforgettable. This B&B is a true Sicilian oasis. It feels both remote and connected – close to San Vito Lo Capo and the stunning Riserva dello Zingaro, yet peaceful and completely immersed in nature. The setting is breathtaking: dramatic landscapes, stunning gardens, golden light (truly magical), and complete stillness. You instantly feel transported. Joseph and Stefano have created something truly special – their attention to detail, thoughtful hospitality, and passion for the region shine through every moment. They made us feel so welcome and shared the most wonderful local tips, which made exploring the area even more meaningful. What’s most remarkable is how effortless the whole experience feels – but of course, that is the result of incredible vision, creativity, and heart. Thank you for such a beautiful stay – we can’t wait to return.

Couldn't stay longer, needed more time. Would suggest no less than 3 nights.

The property was amazing - room was lovely and the gardens were superb. The photos do not do it justice. Also the hosts were extremely friendly and hospitable - could not do enough for us. We will return.

Our stay at Baglio Giammaccaro was the highlight of our first trip to Sicily. The place is simply breathtaking, and is surrounded by some of the most raw and beautiful nature we’ve ever seen, from land to beaches. You’re 20 minutes away from San Vito lo Capo, 50m away from Erice, there’s plenty good restaurants nearby. The hosts Stefano & Joseph were amazing, not only is the place beautiful, we totally felt like home. This ain’t your typical “made to photograph well place”, this is genuine architecture full of good taste decor all around, the garden, the relax spots, the pool, all of it was perfect. Breakfast was always different, the fresh fruits and pastry of the day were great. We’ll be coming back.

That we had to leave.

We had the perfect stay at Baglio Giammaccaro. Surrounded by mountains and nestled between 2 nature reserves with wonderful walks and close to numerous sandy beaches and rocky coves. Walking distance to some scrumptious restaurants and places to pick up freshly made bread and butchers where you can pick up all the necessities for the perfect Sicilian picnic. The house itself was picture perfect with adorning beautifully curated gardens. Fantastic facilities and delicious breakfasts! Stephano and Joseph were incredible hosts and made us feel like part of the family, we dined, drank and shared stories, all of which contributed to an amazing experience. I could go on and on listing all the ways they went out of their way to accommodate us and how their attention to detail made this such a wonderful stay. Without hesitation I give this stay a 10/10 across the board!

It honestly exceded our expectations. It's a real special place, the photos on their page don't make justice of the hotel or the surroundings. It's exactly what you expect if you plan to look for peace when in Sicily. Amazing garden with a million beautiful corners. The amount of love this guys put in that place is incredible. The staff can't be any more attentive. Steffano took care of every single detail and MORE. Would go back tomorrow if we could! We definitely felt like HOME! Thanks again!
