Gorska Roža B&B

Hosts are very friendly, flexible and understanding. They put their hearts in the design and composition. Room is cozy and fresh, views are amazing (however, the window view is a bit crowded but they have a nice backyard, located in one of the most beautiful valleys). Location is comfortable if you are looking for more extreme activities like canyoning. There is a very good restaurant near the hotel, reservation is needed for a couple days in advance though.

Breakfast had a really nice presentation, they were very healthy, hosts can provide gluten free and lactose free options, but also could be more nutritious as there was mainly bread with some toppings (jam, meat paste), apple, some cheese, youghurt and oats. The hotel is near the street so sound can bother those who sleep light. Small things like hard bed pillows and an empty glass bottle for water with glasses provided could be taken into consideration but nothing crucial.

Room warms, air con would be good

We had a wonderful stay. Katija and Matija were excellent hosts who clearly love what they do. They want their guests to enjoy their stay with, beautiful rooms, lovely public areas and a really cool breakfast pavilion. The breakfast was delicious with local honey, cheese, jams and apple juice. I hope one day to return and to continue yo explore this area of Slovenia.

This delightful property is superb and is managed by a lovely young couple who are happy to chat about the area, it's history and places to go. These are the sort of people you hope to meet sometimes when you're travelling. Matya and Katya thank you for making our stay so special.

there were no wardrobes in the room, breakfast very modest. only filtered coffee (mícha), a piece of cheese, yogurt and a croissant. I had to ask for eggs. Offered only hard boiled and cold.

Everyone mentions the kindness of the young hosts, with good reason! They are genuinely hospitable and friendly. We wish them only the nicest of guests! Staying at Gorska Roza is a memory we'll carry forever. Yes, that good! Log Pod Mangartom turned out to be a real find too; a beautiful setting with some of the best hiking, and the restaurant, Brunarica, just a short walk in the direction of Bovec, was excellent.

The hotel is beautifully decorated and very clean. It's located in a quiet little village, close to Bovec and a walk leading to a waterfall. Katja and Matija are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is very good and varied. The jams are homemade and the products are of the highest quality. The "brunarica" restaurant, a 5-minute walk away, is a real plus! Don't miss it!

Beautiful pavilion as a breakfast place. Really friendly and attentive hosts. Spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. A coffee machine. And the location is beautiful.
