Magnolia Cottage B&B

The location was great for our road trip Nelson to Arrowtown. The bed was super comfortable and the shower showed the benefit of a very skilful plumber living on site. Breakfast superb especially the home cooked loaf of bread which we were able to take the remainder with us for eating down the road. Anne was a friendly welcoming hostess and great to talk with. The TV is nice and big and clear and good for weary travellers to relax in front of.

The kitchen, bathroom, toilet and shower area felt quite cramped between the nice large lounge area and the big bedroom. But this can’t be helped due to the size of the cottage and shouldn’t turn anyone off staying. Magazines are mostly 2013 vintage but still interesting to read.

Very nice breakfast and, the lovely warm loaf of bread was a real treat!

I am a wee bit short in stature for the height of shelves for the crockery, but no big deal.

Breakfast was great!!!!

We loved the naturalness and that we could bring our dog. Anne was lovely! We felt at home. It was spacious and warm. The bed was lovely.
