Everything - couldn't be happier. The location was fabulous, the room spacious, the bed really comfortable and the outside private bath a special treat.

Nice and peaceful, easy to find with Google maps, everything you need was there at hand, we opted for breakfast which was lovely

Peaceful location. Very comfortable room and private. Rural setting but only a few minutes short drive to town.

Generous breakfast. Enjoyed the unit being self contained and private Easy access by car into New Plymouth (8 minutes) Very peaceful and quiet. Very well equipped

Perfectly located to access New Plymouth CBD or the Mt Taranaki National Park. Escape was clean, comfortable and had everything required for our stay. Sue and Ron were great hosts and you can see that they've put a lot of effort into ensuring that Escape had all the little extra touches that a lot of places don't have. Comfy bed and pillows, well appointed kitchenette, air conditioning/heating, high-speed unlimited internet, Netflix and Smart Tv, Webber Q BBQ and even an outdoor tub (very private)! My wife and I have stayed at a few places in New Zealand and Escape ranks very high on our list. It's a perfect place to get away from the city for a few days of R&R in Taranaki.

Great if you are traveling alone or as a couple like we did. Otherwise, probably best to avoid as the room and ensuite bathroom will be a little small for families to manage. Nothing else really comes to mind. It's as close to perfect as you can get for a B&B style accommodation option.

Great hosts, lovely location, close to town, peaceful setting, very comfortable, great amenities and tasteful decor.

Escape is a fantastic b&b, a lot of care and thought has clearly gone into the design and layout of the property. Very comfortable bed, huge clean hot shower, an outdoor bath that runs very hot to do some stargazing at night. Fantastic set up and zero complaints!
