"Best Sunday Lunch and a great place to stay"

Everything. We arrived early to enjoy the legendary Fountain Cottage Cafe Sunday Lunch. Just the best ever. Then a very comfortable sleep and a generous breakfast. The area is beautiful with lots of great walks.

"Great base for walkers and cyclists. They had a secure bike store room and a hosepipe to clean off the bikes."

Room 2 was a lovely room with probably one of the biggest en suites I've had! Spa bath and a separate shower helped relax my muscles after a long day cycling in the forest! Lovely breakfast with lots of choice.

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely return and recommend."

The room and bathroom were very spacious, modern, well equipped and clean. The staff were friendly and even offered fresh milk for hot drinks instead of cartons in our room. Breakfast was also very good.

Can't think of any negative comments.

A lovely friendly place in an excellent location. Super staff who were very helpful about the area & nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautifully furnished & absolutely spotless; even the en suite, including the shower showed no signs of use & was positively gleaming! And as for breakfast; fresh cooked, piping hot & top quality ingredients, delicious (as were the scrumptious cakes). Wished we had longer on our last day to have stayed for Sunday lunch but we will definitely be going back.

We would not change a thing.
