The view and the home made goodies and comfy bed and outside surrounds.

The bathroom was outside which is inconvienient for older people.

Breakfast was great with home made goods. Very tasty Great to see non-processed goods on offer! Beds were very comfortable and the view fantastic!

Wifi was poor and therefore slow.

a well presented B&B, clean , amenities were excellent and our hosts were so helpful and friendly. Although not in town, the scenery was wonderful and an easy few minutes drive to a cute lovely town. A lot of meal choices Well located to see the wonderful sites of the Coramandel town and area.

A lovely comfortable self contained unit with amazing sea views. Malcolm and Denise are such professional hosts but at the same time are so genuinely friendly and helpful. We loved cooking on the gas BBQ and eating on the patio with the perfect sea view.

the scones have to rate as our number 1 love here! The best either of us had ever tasted (and we’ve eaten a fair few)! bed comfortable room spotless Malcolm & Denise are lovely & Malcolm’s bible of the area is invaluable. bathroom super cosy with a little fan heater for chilly mornings, shower strong and hot. really spoilt with the fresh orange juice, fresh fruit and home made cereals. we didn’t use the bbq or microwave as the restaurants in town were very good (uma & pepper tree). outside area is private & overlooks the bay, great for a drink after a day out exploring. A car is a must here as it’s out of town, but then a car is needed really to explore the peninsula.

Great hosts, amenities and location, It felt like a little slice of paradise. Despite the awful weather we had a lovely relaxing time at Bird Haven.

Couldn’t fault one thing.
