A beautiful location and building. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was nice. The beds could be a bit firmer, but overall we enjoyed out stay.

We booked without breakfast, but when we arrived we were told that they always serve breakfast and were charged additionally for it. They should then have it as a fixed item on Booking.com and not as an option. As someone who likes to make tea or coffee it was a bit uncomfortable as there is no kettle in the rooms, you have to use the communal kitchen and bring your own teabags.

Location is excellent and the attached restaurant was nice as well. Breakfast is good with friendly staff

The new receptionist is friendly but she could have been more pro-active in showing the building and room, this would have saved us some time. The heating was not working in one bedroom which made it really cold at night. Earlier compliant was not picked up unfortunately.

Breakfast was great, nothing to complain about

The location is beautiful and convenient both for hikes and for city visits (Aachen, maastrich). The staff were kind and helpful, they even brought us beers after the restaurant's closing time, which we paid the following day.

Our room had only a small window which was not enough to ventilate the entire room and it was getting rather hot. I generally found the facilities rather basic for the price. Nothing bad, but not sufficient to justify the price. There was no fridge, kettle or microwave in the room, although they were specifically mentioned on booking.com
