Antichi Quartieri

This was a clean, comfortable and attractive B&B stay in Piazza Armerina, close to the amazing Villa Romana. Parking was easy and right outside the door. The host, Gigi was very friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was great with a variety of delicious options amounting to much more than we could possibly eat The bathroom was modern and the shower was fantastic! All in all, staying at Antichi Quartieri was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend it.

De ligging, de ruimte en de eigenaars. Zo lief! Ontbijtje was top.

We kregen te horen dat we er alleen zouden zijn maar om negen uur ‘s avonds kwam er opeens toch iemand binnen. Een berichtje was fijn geweest. Van de gast hadden we geen enkele last.

Beautiful owner and fabulous room in a great location. Breakfast was superb! Very friendly host!

The host was exceptionally friendly, accommodating and enthusiastic. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was great and included some breads baked by the host’s wife that were excellent. Plus great croissants, yogurt, meats and cheese, juice and really good coffee.

While the location is very convenient for touring Villa Romana del Casale, driving in Piazza Armerina is a major challenge. Frightening. Narrow, steep roads and our Apple Maps kept trying to route us on roads that we had no intention of testing. And parking can also be a challenge.

We stayed for 1 night and we really enjoyed it! The room was spacious, very clean, bright and airy, just across the Duomo , in a very convenient location for exploring the city by foot, plenty of free parking spaces outside and with a very nice host, Gigi, who welcomed us, explained everything we needed about sightseeing, gave us very good recommendations about places to eat and prepared for us a very good breakfast next day!Absolutely recommended!

That we didn’t have time to stay one more night.Piazza Armerina is a very charming city which deserves time for exploring, apart from the impressive Villa Romana del Casale.

The host Luigi was exceptionally pleasant and caring. Location in the old town, adjacent to the cathedral was excellent, as was the free street parking outside.. Wonderful breakfast.

Gigi was a very good host, so welcoming and helpful in making out stay comfortable. The room was in a great location right next to the cathedral with a short steep walk into town and parking nearby. The room facilities were clean and good with a kettle, fridge and selection of hot drinks. The breakfast was brought in and we enjoyed fruit, yoghurt, cheese and meats and pastries.
