Thoduwawa Beach Villa

The staff and manager are awesome. The bed is insane! The location is good. Close to the beach and additionally a cool pool. The breakfast is great, especially the Sambal and homemade jam!!! Good and very spacious room with very good shower.

There are not many restaurants around if you like to go out. The Wifi reception was not good but the mobile reception was good. It is expensive for Sri Lanka but worth the money!

Habitación cómoda con buen desayuno a pie de playa (tiene un atardecer maravilloso) en zona poco turística. Fue nuestra primera noche y definitivamente una muy buena toma de contacto! Anfitrión muy simpático, pudimos aparcar nuestro vehículo dentro de la finca sin problemas.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Thosuwawa Beach Villa war einfach traumhaft! Die Lage direkt am Strand ist unschlagbar – man wacht mit dem Rauschen der Wellen auf und genießt atemberaubende Sonnenuntergänge. Die Villa selbst ist wunderschön gepflegt, sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Ruhe und Privatsphäre – perfekt zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat jeden Wunsch erfüllt, sodass wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Auch das Essen war hervorragend – frisch, lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier großer Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Wir können die Thosuwawa Beach Villa jedem empfehlen, der einen entspannten, luxuriösen und authentischen Aufenthalt am Meer sucht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The beautiful setting, with stunning gardens, closeness to the beach meant being able to hear the waves at night. The pool was perfect for a refreshing dip. The food was excellent. Very tasty and amazing value for money. The room was big with a spacious bathroom. The toiletry products were so good I did not use the ones I brought from home. The 4 key staff members work well together and maintain a high standard.

I cannot think of anything I would improve.

Oase van rust. Wat een heerlijke plek om de drukte te ontvluchten. Zwembad was top en een mooie standtuin, waar je heerlijk in kunt ontspannen. Tijdens het eten op het terras hoor je de golven op de achtergrond.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was so calm, comfortable, and relaxing from the very beginning. Manager Sandgi and his team were very kind and caring. They really paid attention to every small detail and made sure we felt welcome all the time. The food was amazing — the local chef cooked very delicious meals every day. We truly enjoyed every dish. The massage was also fantastic, one of the best we’ve had. It made our stay even more special. Overall, the atmosphere was very cozy and warm. And the sunsets… no more words just look at the photos! We felt at home and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

The only thing g is railway station and trains noise. But if you close the bathroom door for the night is ok

Lovingly furnished, clean accommodation in a family atmosphere with hospitable landlords, very good sanitary standards and air conditioning, cozy terrace with ocean view, well-maintained swimming pool, direct access to Indian Ocean beach, very good and plentiful breakfast with fruit and local side dishes, option for dinner with excellent Sri Lankan cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed.
