The Farmers Arms Inns

Room was clean and nice size Food was superb and nice atmosphere

The staff here are fantastic. They have a fight on their hands running accommodation in such an old building but they really are trying their hardest. The beds are comfortable, the linens are really good quality and the tea tray is very well stocked. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. We decided to give the accommodation a try because we always eat here when we're staying in nearby Skeeby.

Our first room had waste water from unknown sources in the shower which unfortunately rose and got onto the floor when the toilet was flushed. When we told staff they moved us to a family sized room immediately. In the family room, we were able to answer all the questions for the quiz night going on below. The shower pressure is very weak, and the toilet has a macerator unit which comes on whenever any water drains. This is obviously very noisy.

The location was excellent for us as we were going to the race course which was a 5 minute walk away. The staff at the Farmers Arms were excellent, they really looked after us. The food in the dinning room was first class, a good choice freshly cooked and plenty of it. There were also plenty of car parking spaces.

The room needed a bit of TLC and updating. The bathroom was very tiny and cramped.

Great price and location, clean room that had everything you need for a short stay.

Perfect location for a wedding we were attending!

The only thing I struggled with was getting to the toilet with the shower and sink it was a bit of a squeeze!
