"Exceptional"

Lovely room and facilities, very homely. Andrew was so welcoming, and had great recommendations for places to go/eat in the local area. Check in/out was nice and easy. I only stayed for one night as a stopover but could have happily stayed for longer.

I personally don't use an Alexa or equivalent day to day, but there was one available in the room. I think this is great for people that would like it, and I was easily able to switch it off until I was checking out so no issues as far as I'm concerned.

"Home from home"

Breakfast was superb, as always. The location is perfect for my trips to Taunton as it's just a short car journey to Taunton Park and ride, car parking near the cricket ground and there is also a bus stop right opposite the Blue Mantle with the Railway Station to Taunton also being reopened to add another option for the journey.

"Simply amazing!"

Everything in Blue Mantle is great. The common spaces are cozy and so is the room. Andrew and his family make you feel welcomed from the moment you step on through the door. This accommodation is a true gem! The breakfast is delicious and really worth it.

Confortable, quiet, room and welcoming owners, excellent breakfast

Bathroom for the room was not entirely ensuite as access from corridor.

"Jay's Journey"

Very accommodating with breakfast times. We had to leave really early, so he made sure we had a good breakfast before we left. He didn't charge us for breakfast, instead he asked us to donate the money to the charity we were walking for.
