Villa Zufrò

We stayed here 1 night on our way to Sicily. We liked it so much that 2 weeks later we decided to stay here again for a night when we returned home. We definitely have to return for a much longer stay next time. Giovanni is one of the sons who handles reservations and greeting guests when they arrive. He immediately makes you feel welcome. His mother and sister are the ones who make the delicious cakes and marmallate for breakfast. Giovanni also makes the honey for breakfast and prepares the coffee, tea and other items that may be requested. His father makes delicious cured olives. All of them are excellent hosts! The structure is incredibly beautiful and is immaculate inside and out. It is located 5 minutes from the center of the city, but far enought away that at night it is very quiet and peaceful. It is very tastefully decorated and our room was very comfortable with everything we needed. There is a beautiful veranda where you can eat breakfast if weather permits or just sit and relax. There is a beautiful swimming pool and it is possible to order drinks which are served to you poolside with some wonderful snacks. We would like to thank all of the family for their graciousness and hospitality.

Practically everything. The location and facilities were fantastic.

The restaurant food was pretty good, but we had to wait pretty long time both the times we went there. Long waiting times (of one hour and half) is not an issue for young couples enjoying the sunset and see view, but could be pretty annoying for a family with young children, getting bored to stay sitting down without food.
