The breakfast was very nice:plenty of food served by a kind and attentive lady.

The price seemed high for the accomodations. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable but dated.

Beautiful home and gorgeous ocean views in a fantastic location. Very comfortable bed. The provided breakfast was good. Friendly staff. Please note that I had the room with the best view.

Asked a staff member about why there was no heat in the shower. About 30 minutes later he knocked on my room's door and said that the boiler was "now turned on". Why was it turned off? The glass screen doors looking out to the ocean were very dirty. Some floor tiles in the bedroom need repairing. Good sized cracks on the wall with the air conditioner which requires fixing.

Betty is magical! She is so sweet, a fantastic chef, a kind soul. She really went over and above to make our stay lovely. The entire staff was really sweet. Besides wonderful Betty and staff, we loved the location. We aren’t into big city vibes with discotecas, shops, etc., and Hill House was exactly our speed. We had a view of the sea (which probably won’t be there anymore because there was construction on a two-story building in front of it) and the city from our balcony, and we could walk to the Observatorio, Machado Plaza (so much good food), the malecón…

The mosquitos were relentless so screens on the windows would be nice. Also, it took a long time so get hot water in the shower, which wasn’t really a huge deal because it was so hot in august.

Betty was so nice and very attentive. She made our stay very pleasant.

Water in the shower and the pool could use some renovations.
