The old furniture like in a museum.

We have to be very careful about old things.

This is an incredibly beautiful old mansion. It was an honour to be allowed to stay in a place of such rich history. And the wonderful Mrs Laura ensured our stay was exceptional. We lived it.

This is a unique place where to stay. It is not a normal hotel, you cannot come and go at any time because there is no reception. However, sleeping in a historical building like this villa is a real experience. The lady that hosts the building is lovely and helpful.

It is important to make clear that is not an hotel. The building is a historical villa and the guest has to be extremely respectful of the room and furnitures. We enjoyed the stay but it is not for everyone.

It's totally charming, gives you a special experience of an old manor or villa, yet still affordable. Beautiful furniture, huge garden outside, very clean, well equipped. .

You have to walk to your (private) bathroom one floor higher, but it didn't really bother us, the bathroom was huge and modern. There was no key for the bathroom, which bothered me a bit, but the housekeeper said that people got locked inside, so she took it. That was a bit strange, but otherwise she was kind and helpful. I missed some fresh bread for the breakfast.

Walking distance of a couple of places. Bed was pretty comfortable but low to the floor. Interesting building. Setting was pretty.

No access to coffee in the house. We are not particularly breakfast eaters but we do like coffee throughout the morning and evening. Bed seemed that it would fall apart fairly easily. The bathroom was very inconvenient particularly climbing two flights of stairs in the middle of the night. Except for when we checked in, the towels were old and worn. No washcloths at all. The shower was ridiculously small. The other bathroom had a larger one and our bathroom could have accommodated the larger one, but did not have it. I did not see any indication of a smoke alarm. The door that we entered was not always locked when we came back to hotel even though it was quite late at times. Guests were depended upon to be responsible and lock it when they came in but we found it unlocked when we came in on a few occasions. That made for feelings of insecurity especially when having to walk up the stairs in the middle of the night to go into the bathroom.

Very beautiful old house with history, beautiful garden well kept, nice owner and helpful when needed in constant contact, very close to the store, laundry, cafe, possibility for walks in nature, behind the house and garden - area for walks in nature, summering comfortable and pleasant stay

1. maybe the bells in nearby church are too loud and too early in the morning for some (of course it's not the house's fault) 2. laundry only for a fee, which should be included in the price in such appartment. 3. it was a little bit tiring to make sure that the children are not too loud because it disturbs others
