Friendly & personalised service Lovey location Beautiful historic building and extensive very well kept gardens Close to Hurstpierpoint where my son lives

A bit pricey but I had to book a double room as a single person as Hickstead meant everywhere was booked! Had to share a bathroom ( though in reality this didn't cause any issues) No locks on the rooms' doors - again actually wasn't an issue during my stay - but I guess it could be

Gorgeous location and setting, extensive gardens and places to sit. Lovely countryside views, so peaceful. Roomy bedroom, soft comfortable beds, with en-suite. All the wee touches were lovely, water in room, tea and coffee making facilities, very clean.

The breakfast was served in such a delightful way in an absolutely delightful room. The location was stunning, spoiled by the weather a little on our visit.

Super helpful and encouraging hosts. They even politely up an Australian flag to celebrate my arrival. Amazing breakfast with fresh ingredients. Quiet room that was cozy too.

My bathroom was down stairs but next time I will book another room as I will stay again.
