This is one of the most beautiful apartments I’ve ever stayed in, and you can tell that every detail in the space has been carefully chosen. What you see in the pictures will be even more pleasant when you arrive. The bed is extremely comfortable, which is very important to me, some hotels could learn from their example. They clean regularly, take out the trash, make the bed, and the whole place feels spotlessly clean. Kindness and warmth are definitely what make this family special. Cesare was always available and helped with every little thing we asked about. Mrs. Rosa, who greets you every day with a smile, does her best to make you feel welcome. ❤️ It’s rare to find such a lovely home and such kind hosts, so if you’re visiting this part of Italy, I sincerely recommend these apartments. 🙂

The breakfast was prepared each morning by Rosa. Rosa was very friendly and cordial. We enjoyed talking with her and thank her for being a very friendly host.

Everything was exceptional.

Nothing is a scam

I need to share what happened to me. I booked a stay for October 24 through Booking.com and received the booking confirmation (see attached screenshot). At first, everything seemed fine. A man named Cesare contacted me on WhatsApp, providing the entrance code and details for my booking. When I arrived, I saw several doors labeled differently: Diana Suite, Nicholas Room, Shell Room. The Diana Suite was open, and it looked nice, so we chose it. However, I noticed a security camera hidden behind the TV in the dining area, which felt suspicious, so I turned it off. Almost instantly, Cesare messaged me on WhatsApp, asking, “Did you turn off the camera, my friend?” (see attached conversation). I confirmed it was me, and he didn’t respond further. Later, my wife and I went out to get groceries to celebrate our anniversary. When we returned, the Diana Suite was locked with all our belongings inside, and the camera was turned on again. I turned it off once more, and Cesare immediately called, questioning why I had turned off the camera. I explained that, as the owner of a security company and a former police officer with 20 years of experience, I know the laws well. Having an active camera inside the apartment without prior consent, signage, or my permission is against privacy standards. Cesare argued that it was his apartment and he could do what he wanted. I reminded him that for the two nights I had paid for, it was my apartment, and he had no right to have a camera inside without informing me. I had a contract with Booking.com, and there was no mention of cameras in the apartment. Then, around 8:30 p.m., two strangers (an elderly woman and a young man—not Cesare) entered the apartment using the security code without our permission. They claimed to own the apartment, with the woman introducing herself as Cesare’s mother. She saw our groceries and started shouting that cooking wasn’t allowed in the apartment, which seemed bizarre.
