Very nice establishment. Very nice bedroom & furnishings with comfortable bed & lovely modern bathroom. Lots of thought put into everything including bottle of filtered water, kettle, teas & biscuits in the room. Very clean. Excellent breakfast choices. Host was welcoming and accommodating. Off street parking. Lots of local information provided neatly in the room.

Church bells could be a problem for light sleepers if the window is open. There is almost nowhere in South Molton that provides food at night. You have to drive several miles outside the town but the host is happy to provide "hardwear" if you bring in something yourself or have a takeaway.

The B&B was beautiful, a pristine room with an excellent bathroom and a great shower. Breakfast was superb and there was not a single thing we would have changed. Well organised and efficient.

Nothing, it was perfect

What a fantastic stay! We were visiting for a local weekend event at the John Arbour Mill open weekend, and this location was absolutely perfect, just a short walk to the town hall. We loved everything – the room, hallways, and dining room were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was lovely and fresh with a great selection, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower had great pressure too! Our host, John, was wonderful and went above and beyond, even helping me reverse out of the driveway!

John is a great host. I received a friendly welcome and John carried my suitcase up the impressive sweeping staircases, to a delightful room overlooking the rooftops. I loved the information given in the folder telling something of the history of the building and John's story of his name used for his art, which adorns the walls of the breakfast room. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. Certainly a 'king' in the world of B&Bs.

Lovely location in a quiet street off the main town. Secure private parking. Host was fantastic, helpful, friendly, nothing too much trouble. His art work is amazing. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of options. Room was large, clean and very comfortable.
