If you’re trying to get away into the wilderness this is the place. Very rustic.

Upon arrival they have dogs running around. One of the dogs ran up on me and stepped on my shoes and got mud on them. I don’t think having dogs running around is very professional. Second was the room we had didn’t have a lock on it. When we returned in the evening the pillows and some things were moved. People should not go into someone’s room when they’re gone. It’s called privacy.

There wasn’t anything to dislike about this property. It’s in one of the best locations in Valle, there is space for solo travelers or groups, it’s quiet, the host is incredibly attentive, and the views are out of this world. It honestly feels like your at an awesome family members house. It’s just a vibe.

great place to stay and visit, is far away but not that much from the buzzing of the main road, the place is beautiful, great taste in decoration, if you want to spend a quiet weekend to meditate or just enjoy the view. this is the place, great attention from the owner, thank you! Tere

We absolutely loved La Quinta Maria. It is a beautiful property and we had a wonderful time. Teresa and her staff were delightful. Breakfast was soo good, I loved that they use natural and home grown vegetables from their own garden. They were extremely accommodating and easy going about our wake up and breakfast times which made our stay very comfortable. My husband enjoyed a massage and he highly recommends it, he was so relaxed! We loved the sound of nature while having breakfast with views of the beautiful mountains... This place is perfect! Close to wineries and restaurants and also great for just staying in, relaxing and just reading a book. They do have wifi for those who can't go without watching a movie or something on their tablets or phones. However we opted for unplugging from it all, during the day we visited wineries and ate great food at some of the best restaurants we have ever been to, and in the evenings we sat by the fire pit and had great talks and drinks under the starry sky. I read a review about a winding road to get there, and I have to say, that was not our experience at all. We followed the instructions we received prior to our check in day and we had no issues getting there or finding it. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully can stay longer!

Nothing. It is perfect.

The property was beautiful, set amongst lovely gardens, with plenty of areas to read and relax. Particular care was taken to display beautiful crafts as well as the owner's own paintings. I especially liked the care taken with regards to the environment; the owner provides mineral water to avoid the use of plastic and everything served is homemade. It is a very relaxing environment. The owner, Maria Teresa and the staff were very friendly and her recommendations for wineries, restaurants and craft stores were all exceptionally good.

The cost ended up being higher than we expected, as a 10% service (optional) service charge was added to the bill, which made it awkward to refuse or reduce.
