Great hosts and beautiful + clean + comfortable place to stay close to Udine. Highly recommended 👍 We were there with our bikes. For folks planning to use public transportation - There’s train or bus from a close-by town, about 2.5 kms away. One can walk through the fields to get to the town. Udine is around 12 kms and Cividale is about 7!kms.

Hospitality and quality of the place was exceptional. It has a large, well-maintained, nice and green garden where guests can relax. The rooms are really clean and very spacious. The breakfast area is very cozy and the host provide plenty of fresh options for breakfast that was great for us. The location is not far from Udine or Cividale. It is in a sleepy village if you would like to be a little bit separated from busy Italian cities.

Really enjoyed our stay here, if only for one stormy night. We had a long drive, and the weather was lousy - but Eddie welcomed us and the rooms were nice and cosy, so we felt better right away. Big thanks to Elena for the generous breakfast spread in the morning too. I can only imagine how much nicer it must be in better weather!

Please note that payment will need to be made in cash - just a heads up. The village is also small, so no restaurants - we had dinner in Udine.

If you prefer a nice, quiet location this is the perfect place. The owners are so nice and speak impeccable English. They were very understanding when we arrived after check-in hours. The location is absolutely amazing, it is an old barn turned into a wonderful house. The room was so spacious and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was rich with different choices of fresh fruits, yogurt, eggs, etc. The garden is just wonderful. Our hosts pay so much attention to details. For us was like a gem that we found and we regretted that we couldn't stay more than one night. Not to mention Buddy, the adorable French bulldog. We will definitely come back and stay more. Tip for other guests: Ask for the gelato recommendation, it is simply incredible!

It exceeded our expectations by far!

We were absolutely spoiled by Elena and Eddie who are superb hosts. The facilities are exquisite with every comfort one could ask for. From the tastefully decorated, extremely clean rooms to the delicious breakfasts, I Rondini is the place to stay!
