Breakfast: there was a restaurant next door, but we went elsewhere, so N/A the room was ok, bed fine.

there were some local brochures in one of the drawers, but they were well out of date!

It's a good stop on the way to Cornwall. Nothing special or exclusive but serves the purpose, for the price I think it's decent.

It's not especially aesthetic or modern but it's a good option if you don't care about that and want a less pricey option.

Room 2 on ground floor was very clean and well presented. Shower room was clean and fresh.

Staff were all really friendly and helpful, they all seemed to enjoy their job. Although close to the A303, it was far enough away that the road noise wasn't annoying, even with the window open. The facilities in the room were basic, but everything was exceptionally clean. The bistro serves decent coffee!

Bed was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever tried to sleep in and I'd only had 2 hours kip in the last 36 hours. Breakfast was a beef sausage and turkey bacon - not really what I was expecting with so many farm shops in the vicinity. The room and the communal areas needed a bit of a spruce up. "Decorating" needs a bit of a tidy up. Tiles hanging off the wall in the bathroom. Sachets of sugar in the room had obviously been there a while as they were solid sticks of sugar.
