"A definitely recommended stay."

We would definitely come back here again. It was in the perfect location for where we needed to be and the hosts were amazing. We were left instructions which were easy to follow when we arrived and it was easy to come and go. The breakfast was 10* standard in the words of my daughter. We were offered a great selection and everything was cooked perfectly. The facilities are great if you are staying longer than one night with a living area, dining room and conservatory and the views from the window were beautiful. We were also provided with everything we need in our room including towels, cups for tea and coffee and a fridge outside with fresh milk and water.

If we had arrived a little earlier I would have asked if I could change the duvet/pillow as they were feather and in the heat we had during our stay it got very very hot. Unfortunately it was too late for me to say anything but I wouldn’t say this is necessarily a bad thing as it was just a timing issue with our arrival. Perhaps in this heat it would be great to have a fan too. This may have been offered but again it was too late to ask. Everything else was fantastic.

Tout le charme et les qualités d'un excellent B&B britannique, au premier rang desquelles un accueil chaleureux et convivial.

Aucun grief à évoquer puisque B&B choisi en parfaite conscience de son isolement (relatif) en pleine campagne. Mais Straftford upon Avon n'est pas très loin en voiture !

"A brilliant second stay at the Poplars!"

Our host made us very welcome and we enjoyed a second stay in the same room. A nice suprise was some redecoration. Room clean and well provided. Breakfast was excellent. The surroundings are peaceful countryside.

Only one minor snag we had difficulty accessing the front door key. The combination had changed slightly!

It was like a home away from home. Everything had been thought about to make the stay comfortable. I lived how quiet everything was. The food was amazing and we will definitely go back.
