Larchmount House B&B

A wonderful b&b in a beautiful home just a few minutes from Derry. Exquisitely decorated, lots of space and a superb breakfast. Pamela took care of us superbly - we will be back.

We stayed at Larchmount as we were attending a wedding at Beech Hill nearby. The B&B is perfectly located within walking distance for anyone visiting Beech Hill. The room was very comfortable and homely. Pamela was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent and served in a beautiful conservatory overlooking the surrounding garden.

The wonderful host, Pamela, was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The two room suite was decorated beautifully and impeccably clean. Guests have use of a conservatory where she serves a lovely breakfast. The location is not far from the city center and is located at the end of a very quiet lane. I would highly recommend Larchmont House and would love to stay there again when we visit Derry next. We love opting for traditional B&B's when we travel and this one was by far our favorite of our 3 week holiday through Ireland and Scotland.

We were there for a wedding in a local hotel which was 2 minutes from Larchmount House which was great althogh the entrance was a little hard to find along the main road however Pamela sent me a message on the day to help me find the entrance but I didnt pick it up in time so go slow along the road and you'll see it. . A beautiful building, we had the bedroom at the top of the house, the room was very unique and memorable, spotlessly clean with extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was so delicious and fresh with a choice of continental of cereals, juices, yoghurts, fresh fruit, fresh breads, and muffins and tray bakes, tea, coffee, toast etc with also the option to have a cooked breakfast as well which I did and it was also so fresh and delicious. Pamela was great and made us feel so welcome and offered to drop us off at the local hotel for the wedding. Overall a wonderful stay and although a bit more expensive than the usual hotels in Derry it was worth it and I would have no hesitation recommending Larchmount which ticked all the boxes for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the property was absolutely stunning, full of charm and beautifully decorated throughout. Pamela was a fantastic host: warm, welcoming, and truly skilled at preparing a delicious breakfast that made each morning special.

Larchmount House is in an excellent location to get into the Walled City. Pamela cooked a delicious breakfast each morning and this was served in a stunning conservatory. Pamela is a wonderful host.

There isn't anything to not like.

Breakfast was terrific! Our host, Pamela, is wonderful! The accommodations are fabulous! The location is beautiful! The only negative is that, due to our hurried schedule, we weren't able to stay longer. This is such a welcoming and comfortable place to stay, I can't imagine anyone not liking it.

While it was not a negative for us, if you have trouble with stairs this may not be the place for you. Also, we had a rental car so the fact that the location is four or so miles from Derry central was not an issue for us.
