Thistledown Lodge

Would love to have stayed here longer. Room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Host was super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Great central location to stay while seeing all the sights and beaches near Hook Peninsula.

Das Zimmer war exakt wie auf den Fotos, eigentlich in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner! Picture perfect, als trete man in eine andere Welt. Wir waren von der stimmigen Einrichtung und den vielen Details sehr angetan. Enda und Martin waren herzlich und sehr bemüht, Frühstück war top, alles sehr liebevoll und stilvoll vorbereitet. Vor dem Haus ist ein genauso liebevoll gestalteter Garten, mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Die Umgebung ist ebenso sehr reizvoll, viele nette Strände in nur wenigen Fahrminuten erreichbar.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Thistledown Lodge – truly one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland. The B&B is beautifully kept, with exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms – the best we experienced during our stay in the country. The location is peaceful, yet conveniently close to lovely beaches and great restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommended!

The style and attention to detail is truly exceptional. Great location. Martin was an excellent host. Would recommend in a heart beat!
