Ho Kho Coffee and Cottages

The owner welcomed us when we arrived very last minute. Absolutely lovely host but the property unfortunately lets it down.

A member of staff was spraying air freshener in the room as we were checking in, so I think they are aware of the issue but the room has an extremely strong smell of musty mould. If we would have checked in earlier in the day, we most likely would have left. All of our clothes that we had out of our bag smelt the next day also. The duvet had no cover, so unlikely they are washing that between guests and also the bathroom requires some attention as the bath was leaking badly when the shower was in use…I think I found the culprit to the musty smell!

We loved our stay here, such lovely floating bungalows, very clean, spacious, great shower and Wi-Fi, air con and also an air filter which was lovely after coming from the city, slept very well it was so comfy, everything you needed in the room like a fridge, kettle, water, coffee and all soaps in the bathroom, we even got treated to a free coffee in the morning in their own cafe, it was delicious and all the staff were lovely and the owner was so friendly and helpful, really made us feel welcome. Views were beautiful and location was very quiet, but had good restaurant near by and some shops, we definitely enjoyed our stay!

Booked it last minute after no success in Banraktai. The host is very lovely and welcoming. Had the best bath after a long day. The surrounding area is lovely and sweet to wake up to.

A bit pricey

So happy to find this hidden gem! On a peaceful stretch of river off hiway and only 2 bungalows so very quiet! Bonus was finding out the owners are helping orphans and have volunteers from NZ and Australia helping for a month so there’s tents all around but the kids are very polite and quiet!

Need to add reading lights on bed frame behind head!

The pillow was as hard as a stone and the height of the pillow was so uncomfortable that I folded my clothes as a pillow to sleep on.
