At first, I made a reservation through the hotel’s official website. However, I had no choice but to change my schedule and ended up requesting a cancellation. It was late at night, and even though the staff was on personal time, he kindly helped me. Since I also work in the customer service sector, I know very well that this is not easy. I was truly touched, so when my schedule change was canceled, I made another reservation at the same hotel right away. And, unfortunately, this was the only service I got from the staff.

However, I did not receive any notification regarding the refund. On the day I was supposed to stay at the hotel, I contacted the staff again to inform that I had made a second reservation and requested a refund for my first booking. He told me that I had requested the cancellation too late, that the room had not been resold, and therefore a refund was not possible. After that, he unilaterally blocked me. I was deprived of the chance to explain my side—that I had requested the cancellation within the refund period according to the hotel’s policy, and that by rebooking at the same hotel, I had caused no loss. Since I made the reservation in order to attend an immigration interview, I stayed at the hotel anyway. I also tried to reach him again through multiple channels—via Booking.com and even through staff working at the hotel—but received no response. Even when I needed help during my stay, I got no reply whatsoever. To make matters worse, I found out that all the rooms had been booked that day. It was very upsetting to learn that he had lied to me. I ended up paying more than other guests, yet received worse service than anyone else. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel.

Onbemande slaapgelegenheid in Albergaria-a-Velha. Mooi, ruim pand met fijn ingerichte gemeenschappelijke ruimtes. Alle voorzieningen aanwezig; helaas waren wij er maar 1 nacht, dus niet van alles gebruik gemaakt. Ideaal gelegen aan de Caminho-route. Schoon en comfortabel. Prima kamer, sanitair en bedden.

Prima locatie voor doorreis, misschien minder leuke wijk om vakantie te vieren.

Il est dommage que le parking ne soit pas très large .La personne qui nous a reçu, nous a dit qu 'il n'était pas assez large. Nous avons dû nous garer sur la route or j'avais demandé un hôtel avec parking.

The cleanest accommodation i have ever stayed in. Always spotless. I highly recommend this accommodation. Central, and the lady who welcomes guests couldn't be more helpful Muito obrigado.
