Au Velocipede

B&B with lovely rooms situated in the medieval center of the town. Warm welcome, hosts were very friendly and most helpful. Great breakfast to start off the day.

Parking in the town is not free, so if you stay a few nights you need to take this into consideration. This was a bit of a hassle since we had bicycles and luggage to unload. There is a free parking site outside the town with shuttle service or you can walk 25 minutes to reach the B&B.

Simple, excellent breakfast. Great location handy to everything and right in the middle of the old town.

It's a very heavy duvet, so you need to have the windows wide open to avoid overheating.

It was all very acceptable indeed - nicely positioned, clean, comfortable, warmly welcoming hosts.

There was just one day when I thought it would be rather nice if there were somewhere to sit and have a quiet read perhaps whilst waiting for the rain to stop. But that was very minor indeed. Lovely place. Will go back for sure.

Breakfast was excellent - very healthy food and all very fresh. The breakfast room was very lovely too!

The Guest house is charming with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent hosts . Our stay was completely comfortable and we left after having a delightful breakfast.

Very convenient for the town’s facilities yet slightly tucked away so not overwhelmed by the late number of tourists. The room was right next to a lovely church. It was spacious with interesting photographs on the wall. I was able to park my bike under cover with security. Nathalie and Pascal were perfect hosts - friendly but not overbearing.

Slightly hard to find when I first arrived. Directions in advance (I.e right next to St Martins church) would have helped immensely.

Beautiful decor, excellent breafast, very fast wifi

We stayed two nights in the beautiful twin room on the first floor with view over the church. Natalie was a kind and welcoming host and breakfast was excellent. St. Valéry is such a pretty place and the property is extremely well placed to enjoy the mediaeval town, the estuary and the centre ville with a good Sunday market and plenty of shops and restaurants.

Check in time is between 6 and 7 pm. On a very wet afternoon and having travelled all day we were pleased to have a message from Natalie to say we could check in at 5 pm. Parking is nearby but is expensive. You can get a ticket from the machine for 45 mins free parking then get a code from Natalie and instructions how to pay ‘only’ 12 euros for 24 hours instead of 25 euros!
