Old fashioned hospitality in curious house by a stream in very quiet village. Well looked after.

"Very good"

8.0

The Owner, his house & the grounds . Excellent breakfast.

The automatic lights in the ensuite. Very disturbing for the bathroom user & the partner still in bed but bathed in light. The long life whole milk in the bedroom. Foul stuff. Should be banned!

"Delightful, welcoming and very English property in a very pretty setting."

8.0

Interesting property full of family photos, books, pictures and paintings. Bed was very comfortable and the setting was pretty and very quiet, with a delightful garden. Breakfast was excellent and our host was kind and welcoming. We enjoyed a short walk along the river to the nearby pub for an evening meal.

Nothing really

A beautiful old English country house with a river running through it and surrounded by a rose garden with many flowers

The shower pressure was a little low

"Excellent and comfortable stay."

10.0

We felt very welcomed by Michael and gave us a lot of information, including the history of the watermill close by. He contacted the nearby pub (The Boot Inn - highly recommended for cosiness, good food and local beer) to book a table for us. The breakfast was excellent and was able to cater special dietary requirements without any problems. A nice quiet setting, and quite close to Stonehenge.

Nothing to add!
