Spacious and full of character

Lovely experience in The Old Library. The room was huge with very comfy armchairs, breakfast table and the very comfortable four poster bed. Really nice touches to have milk and welcome drinks in the fridge and robes/slippers. There was a powerful hot shower, fluffy towels and little touches like a radio in the bathroom and cotton wool really shows attention to detail. Breakfast was delicious too, served in the room at the selected time. My favourite part of the room was the hidden en-suite! Thank you so much Margaret!

One night stay and will definitely be back. Margaret was the perfect host and our room was fantastic with lots of thoughtful finishing touches. Would highly recommend.

The room and view were great and some nice walks in the Lakes just a short drive away. Definitely worth staying here

Nothing on the property, but the area is a little sparse if you are spending the day there. I would definitely recommend going a walk like Gummers How to see all the views of the lakes!
