Great stay in a charming little city with some really good restaurants.. The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds with a garden and two adorable cats. Breakfast was typical Italian pastries, and occasionally delicious apple or almond custard cake, with good coffee. The room and bathroom were big and the bed comfy. If you have a road facing room you can hear the traffic. The window and doors do a good job blocking it but if you're on the balcony it is pretty loud at times. The location is fantastic if you have a car, we didn't but still found it very doable. There are two train stations each a 30 minute walk. One gets you to Sorrento and Pompeii easily the other is the best for going to Naples. It's not a tough walk but when you've been walking sightseeing all day you can feel it. There is a bus 5 minute walk, the 76, that takes you to Naples and back but limited schedule, we took it a few times and it worked great. Highly recommend this B&B if you want to get out of the craziness of the city after sightseeing all day.

Looking at the photos of the house we expected it to be small, but when we saw it in real life we were impressed. The room were big and spacey, clean, decent and comfortable. The staff is a family that has this building and at the arrival they offered to cook us dinner for a reasonable price, and it was very tasty. The location of Santa Maria la Carita is very close to Pompei, but you’d have to take the train, bus or private car. It’s also close to Sorrento. If you travel by train like we did, the train station to get off was Pioppaino (of Castellamare di stabia town) and you’d have to walk around 20-30 minutes to get to the house, but the town offers public transportation. They even had cats, one being so sociable and cute you’d want to take home with you.

Spacious ,clean, good location for what we had plan. just 20 mins driving from Naples airport. a hand full of minutes away from Pompeii and a short drive for the Amalfie coast. Buonocore is located in Santa Maria La Carita a small town with a great variety of typical Italian food. good free parking facilities just a minute away from the property. Nunzia and her children were very polite and helpful with advice of things to see and do around the area. also the first time we met Nunzia she welcome us with her very own home made limoncello, one of the best I ever tasted.

This is not a 5 start hotel, but we were not looking for one. we prefer family business to help the locals rather than big corporations.

The family was very friendly and helpful. And Nunzia is an excellent cook.

We were 6 people and we got one room with 6 beds. It was impossible to stay there and we left the same day and payed for 5 nights. The owner didn't want to refund us anything. At the night that we were spose to leave the owner send us a massage offering us a free breakfast (That we payed for anyway). The place is in the center of a not very nice town with a lot of noise, and the parking is not very convinient and you have to wait for a free parking space.

The breakfast area overlooks a beautiful back garden/orto where the owners grow their own produce which they use for breakfast and dinner. The home made tarts at breakfast and the limoncello were excellent. The owners were extremely helpful.
