Nice characterful place, spacious rooms

Breakfast is bits & pieces in the room - instant porridge - just add water. Could be a lot better, e.g. cereal boxes, flask of fresh milk, pastries, fresh fruit

We stopped here for the night on the Yorkshire Wolds. It’s a mile off the route but it’s a lovely place. We were in room 5 on the top floor and it was lovely and quiet and we had a beautiful view of the church too! The room had lots of wood panelling and a lovely traditional fire place. It was a beautiful large room with character and we loved it. The bed was huge and super comfortable and we slept great. The en-suite again full of traditional character and beautiful and had everything you need with a great shower. Tea and coffee and the breakfast basket were very much appreciated! We had a drink in the bar downstairs which was lovely and ate at the pub across the road. There is a Morrisons across the road and a Tesco 10 mins walk away. The host was very accommodating and allowed us a slightly earlier check in due to finishing our hike early that day from south cave. It was extremely good value and we had a fab stay! We would highly recommend a stay here. Market Weighton is a lovely place. 😁

Bedroom clean and tidy, bathroom lovely and clean . Location was perfect for us as we were visiting family in Market Weighton.We would stay here again .

The reception and bar are very tired looking could do with a refurbish. Rooms are dated but clean and have everything you you need for your stay.
