Everything!! The warm welcome given to us and our dog by the owner, Luciano; the decor, art and furniture which gave the property a very authentic historical feel; the quiet location (a short drive from the autostrada just before reaching Castell’Arquato - easy to find); the easy on-site parking; the view of the old town from the property; a very peaceful night’s sleep; the generous breakfast served in the beautiful garden. This was a last-minute one-night stopover for us on our journey south. Luciano even booked a meal for us at a restaurant in Castell’Arquato. We would totally recommend this accommodation and be more than happy to return there ourselves.

The was absolutely nothing to dislike.
