B&B Ligure Rooms

We paid for the deluxe sea view room and loved the v large terrace complete with sofa and sun beds. The room was huge, very light, bright and airy. The bathroom was also large, bright and with a double sized walk in shower. Both the room and bathroom were absolutely immaculately clean. The host was very friendly, hospitable and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was nicely presented and included fresh fruit, a choice of juices, yoghurts, cakes, bread and pastries. Cold cuts were available. Secure parking and a lift were a bonus!

Unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working the one night we were there (I suspect merely a flat battery in the remote control for it) which meant sleeping with the terrace doors open. The trains hurtling underneath meant we didn’t get much sleep! The host was v apologetic and I’m sure this wouldn’t be a problem had there been a second night there for us.

Certainly not as advertised, it was not a luxury apartment. It was situated in a residential apartment block, very sterile. It did have a view of the beach, however the foreground was a road then a railway line then a second road and then the beach. On either side of the view were apartment blocks. You paid in our opinion, over and above an apartment without the view an additional 100€ per night for this so called view. Being close to the busy railway line we were woken at 5.00am by noisy trains. The apartment was advised with a mini bar style fridge, but a large size stated “the use of minibar to store personal food or beverage is not permitted” Why?
