"Disappointing"

Welcome host, but very low quality room. Extremely cold and the heater didn't work. Toilet inside the room, whitout any space or comfort. We booked with the swimpool view and we didn't had any view. We felt locked inside the property as the owner lock the cars inside without any access to go out or to arrive in the night. The house have all the facilities yes, kitchenware and everything, but unfortunately is not at all what we expect following the previous reviews. We booked for 2 nights and we just left after as soon we could. Not recomend at all !!!

An astonishing welcome - so hospitable and friendly, I felt like long-lost family. Stunning breakfast- really exceptional. Beautiful grounds and setting. Lovely clean air, ample parking, extremely safe. An outside seating area perfect for the evening as well as for breakfast. Beautiful antiques and lamps throughout the house. A real glimpse of classic Portugal.

My bed was narrow and very creaky, which disturbed my sleep a little.

hosts were friendly and helpful. farm was interesting- donkey was very friendly, nice to see piglets and sheep. pool was welcome and there was space to relax

quite close to main road so could hear the traffic but also very easy to find

Fatima and her husband vere extremly friendly. The property is an old farm that I believe is still in function. The swimming pool is an additional convinence. A very nice place to stay and relax and than after a very good breakfast start the new adventure
