Villa San Michele

Oh my gosh where do we even start?! The physical property is so beautiful and impressive. Quiet, stunning, traditional yet newly upgraded with beautiful finishings. The common area is so cozy with lots of books, coffee table games, and really anything you could need to have a relaxing evening or morning with your company!

I have no comments to this as our stay was absolutely magical.

Simply everything. The hosts are delightful and most helpful in every way. From making dinner suggestions to assistance in planning our day. The property is beautiful and is located in a quiet hamlet with views of San Gimignano in the distance. Parking is easy, safe and nearby. Location is great and an easy drive to Florence, Siena and Chianti as well as most Tuscan hillside towns. There is so much to see within a 20-30 min drive and the vistas are ever changing. The breakfast is delicious and so is the service. This place is a gem!

Stefania and Roger are the best hosts. We got the best in everything. They were friendly and helpful in everything. If we needed a dinner reservation, they readily made an appointment for us. If we wanted to buy a boat ticket, they also helped us with that. (we visited Cinque Terre) we can contact them with anything. The accommodation gives you a real feeling of life in Tuscany. The pool was always spotlessly clean and pleasantly cooling. They took great care of cleanliness and comfort. The breakfast is prepared locally by them in an outstanding quality. I can only recommend this accommodation. Thank you for this great experience!

Everything! It was super!! The accommodation and its surrounding is absolutely beautiful and we have never been to a more spotlessly clean place in holiday. Everything is exactly as it’s shown in the pictures. The owners Stefania and Roger love what they are doing and you feel so welcomed there. They have an eye for details, equal if it’s for their place or for their guests. They know how you like your morning coffee already after the first morning, they arrange the umbrella and the sunbeds always quickly as you like it and then are gone just as they’ve never been there. Also both have the best recommendations for restaurants and food around their place and even further. Stefania or Roger will make a reservation for you at the restaurant you fancy and when you arrive there, you’ll have the best views at sunsets and the Tuscany coming along with delicious meals. Stefania and Roger make a really good breakfast, homemade cake (delicious!!!) and more sweet or savoury options, in fact more you can eat. So have breakfast, enjoy you time at the pool with a glass or bottle of wine or go and see the Tuscany. Roger will give you a map and show you the best places to go, where to park, to eat best or when it’s not worth it. It’s all options, so you can plan your day as you wish. But if you want a little help, because you don’t know where to go first or what to see, Roger and Stefania will tell you maybe some more as you would have found on your own. Thank you for this beautiful honeymoon Stefania and Roger, it was perfect!!

Stefania and Roger are great, they help you in anyway they can and know a lot about the region. Room was spacious, clean and very nice. Everything was just great. Not to forget, the breakfast is amazing.

Wonderful stay in a spotless establishment, managed by a charming couple and staff, very attentive to the needs of their guests at all times, efficient and remarkably helpful. Excellent advise on where to eat, with reservation booked by Villa San Michele, and what to see, including in Sienna and Firenze. The room was very confortable and spacious, the garden was lovely, the swimming pool was great and meticulously maintained by Roger. Excellent Breakfast with delicious pastries prepared everyday by Stefania, assisted by Sabrina, caring perfectly for the gluten-free needs of my wife. We had the impression to spend ou holidays with long distant relatives. In short, impeccable service, attention to detail and the highest standards, for a five stars experience.

Our room was beautiful and clean with a comfy bed. The staff Stef and Roger were super friendly and helpful everyday helping us plan our day with maps and information on local towns. Each night they would check on our dinner plans and book us into restaurants. The breakfasts were very nice, with fresh local products. Stef’s cake of the day each morning was exceptional! Best cakes I’ve ever tasted. The pool was very nice and Roger or Stef were never far away to get us drinks or ice bucket etc.

Nothing really, although maybe it would be nice to have a tv in the room.
