Stefania and Roger Are amazing hosts Before I was arriving they helped me with recommendations for booked restaurants etc The hotel is very clean, comfortable and beautiful The location is very ideally The breakfast is homemade it is variety and very fresh Amazing vacation. Amazing place.

The internet is weak

I cannot more strongly recommend VSM. This was our first stop on our honeymoon and it was simply perfect. The property is beautiful, the countryside is picturesque and the hospitality is world-class. It's a small property so it maintains an intimate feel but the hard-work behind the scenes make you feel as if you're at a five-star resort. Stefania and Roger (your hosts) are unquestionably what make this such a world-class experience. We could not stump them (we tried!) when it came to recommendations. We showed up with no plan, just desires, and they quarterbacked our itinerary every day. It made for an absolutely fantastic and authentic Tuscan experience. Also, each morning starts off with an incredible breakfast. There are delicious sweet and savory options of fresh baked breads and pastries, meats, local cheeses and more. It was the best way to start off each day and it made us excited to wake up each morning.

Reviews aren't believable if they don't have at least one downside! The ONLY hassle for us was that the town was at the top of a large hill and it made walking around a bit difficult as we love to hike and explore. Very easy to walk into the immediate town (which has a few fun restaurants) but difficult to go further than that due to the narrow roads. On that note, we certainly recommend renting a car for your stay at VSM - it opened up so much for us and gave us a lot of flexibility. Was easier than we thought (driving-wise) and made our stay fun.

We had an amazing stay with Stefania and Roger! They definitely make sure every detail of your stay is perfect. The rooms are specious, modern and super clean. Every day they offer a fresh breakfast made entirely with fresh products from within the area. Also they really take the time to help you organize your day trips and help you find fun stuff to do in the area. Thanks Stefania and Roger! Also a big thumbs up to the lady helping them (Sabrina if I remember correctly :) )! Btw: we had the best pizza of our entire trip at the local restaurant in Vico D'Elsa, only a 5 minute walk from the B&B ;)

Everything was amazing. The interior of Villa San Michele was beautiful, they served amazing quality food and Stefani and Roger were just super nice. Couldn’t recommend staying here enough.

Villa San Michele is a truly extraordinary place and in our opinion everybody should visit this B&B once in the lifetime. Stefania and Roger are amazing hosts. They put so much love in the building, the rooms, the breakfast and their recommendations for the area - we have never experienced a service like this. It was more than perfect! The building is renovated and decorated super chic, it is modern and cozy. The rooms are equipped with a very comfortable bed, are beautifully arranged and super clean. The breakfast is just wonderful. Stefania makes everything herself and you have a big variety between savory and sweet options - we absolutely loved it. The service of Roger, Stefania and the lovely Sabrina is really high end. After breakfast (and whenever you needed it) Stefania and Roger took time to explain the best things to do in the area - including all the secret tips e.g. where to park/eat/view the city best. They made every restaurant reservation and even helped us with a mechanic for our car. We felt really cared for. We would love to come back one day and can really recommend it. Thank you so much for everything!

This was our first B&B experience and what an experience it was! If it would be possible we would even give 15/10. Stefania & Roger are both amazing people. The breakfast was excellent. Everything was fresh and Stefanias homemade bread is excellent! They give you great advice for visiting, shopping and to go out eating. As soon as you walk through the gate, you feel directly at home. The only regret that we have, is that we haven’t booked for more nights. We will certainly go back!

Stefania and Roger were absolutely wonderful hosts. Super informative and helpful before and during our stay, and always willing to have a chat on anything during the day! Always willing to offer help on what is good nearby depending on the weather and our own interests and energy, and suggested some abolsutely brilliant places to eat and visit. The room and location are really wondeful, and the entireity of breakfast is a masterpeice. One of the best places we have stayed and we were sad to leave!
