I stayed in Castellammare as my home base to explore the south of Italy. It felt like I had found a hidden gem with this place as it was in a non-touristic area, beautiful, and right next to the train station. Easy access to anywhere else you wanted to travel to. The room itself was bright, big enough, and had an ensuite bathroom. The host was very responsive and super friendly! I'd recommend asking for his WhatsApp rather than texting through Booking.com.

Sometimes the hot water in the shower didn't work, but this didn't happen very often.
