Very clean, modern and had everything i needed, i didn’t spend a great deal in the lodge as i went for a photography trip so many 5am starts & late evening returns, very accessible no issues with access

my only slight negative was the bed was quiet uncomfortable, didn’t sleep much the first night but once i’d got used to it i was completely fine and slept okay the next few nights

The location was great - the reception staff were lovely , the bed was really comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need

The doors to the hot tub area were filthy on the outside and could do with a good clean

The jacuzzi was nice (though instructions on how to actually use it would've been useful- we ended up winging it). The staff were very nice - we only really interacted with the reception staff on arrival and the man who came to try fix our heating, but both were nice. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms had ensuites and clean. It just felt like a nice welcoming place. Great parking, felt safe, great facilities. Some reviews had mentioned hearing the road but we didn't (that may be due to our location though). Would definitely recommend even though we had some issues

When we arrived our cabins were boiling. The handyman explained it was likely due to the hot weather we had just had and the system was still in winter mode so likely heating turned on automatically. The heating didn't really improve until our last night though he had turned off the winter setting. This also affected the wine fridge which was at 36 degrees when we arrived and couldn't be fixed because there were no buttons. We boxed two cabins but ended up not being next to each other (you would just assume if booked under the same name they would be next to each other)- but in the end it wasn't that bad as the site isn't too large so it was only a 1-2min stroll between cabins. Some of the showers were boiling- we had to switch on the water quickly between rinsing & applying shower gel to avoid being burnt. Besides raising the issue on our first night we didn't raise it again after that so I believe the resort would've tried to resolve if we had pushed it more.

Lovely location. Lodges were stunning. Beds comfortable.

Lodge was lovely and spacious with 3 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Great hot tub and terrace, with outdoor dining area. Had a very enjoyable massage at the spa and used the swimming pool every day. Good location for visiting north norfolk.

Could do with redecoration of paintwork and furnishings. (Bedside cabinets very worn, paint flaking off skirting boards, marks on walls) Sofa and mattresses need replacing as very uncomfortable. Traffic noise from nearby main road.
