Beautiful view, comfortable beds, cosy with fire.

Outside door blew open a few times (it was very windy) and couldn't see a way to lock this. Little bit of bird mess on chairs in the conservatory. Would have been nice to have soap in the bathroom and perhaps a little oil in the kitchen.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location, the view from every window was stunning. Lovely area for walking or exploring the Dales. Inside the log burner made the evenings cosy. Very comfortable beds, partner said he's never had such a good sleep and the drench shower in the bathroom is great. Fully equipped kitchen but if you're looking to eat out The Streethead Inn is just up the road and does amazing food.

Wasn't sure if in right place at first, so going through the garden at back to check for the key box felt strange. Also beware of small step down into kitchen from door and again into lounge.

The location, cleanliness, comfort, value. Absolutely amazing break!

Went to the wrong door to start off with so a little more clarity would have been good but found it in the end.

Location is in the middle of nowhere, which we enjoyed greatly. Nice views from front and rear of property. The decor was beautiful and characterful, a mix of old and new. The facilities were good, but no washing machine (no space to fit one).

The smoke alarms went off constantly, including overnight, badly affecting our sleep (and that of our infant). Repeated attempts to resolve the situation got us nowhere, and the situation wasn't resolved despite us staying for a full week. Owners didn't seem massively interested in resolving the issue, just kept saying "we're trying to get 'local office' to sort it".
