Very clean and everything we expected- log burner kept it warm and cosy

Not really much to criticise

The unit was clean and the hosts were great. Lovely village location.

The bath is deep and slippy to get in and out of. Ok for someone younger but a little concerning for someone less mobile. No amenities in bathroom. No lights by bed. Would be great if hosts could put up a small shelf at the side of the bed for a lamp and room for a glass of water.

Location perfect for snetterton and for exploring Norfolk and Suffolk.

Missed not having a hob to cook on but fully equipped otherwise.

Lovely cosy cottage ,log fire with plenty of wood , enclosed courtyard , coffee machine with coffee supplied will definitely return again

Fantastic property

It had its own entrance and garden. The layout inside suited our needs. There was no wardrobe but there were 9 coat hooks, just take your own hangers. There was also a set of drawers with ample storage. The kitchen equipment and facilities were good with a decent size fridge. The wood burner was brilliant. Bike storage was in the enclosed garden.

I don't normally leave reviews but in this case I feel I must.we have just had 3 totally relaxed calm nights at the bothy we were going to go out sight seeing eat at local places but instead we lit the lovely log burner ordered food in drank wine and forgot the world was outside I personally absolutely love this place the location the property the cleanliness Vincent is a great host and very helpful we have stayed in quite a few places around Norfolk but for us the bothy is by far the best we are going home totally relaxed and refreshed

The only very small thing was that it would be useful to have a small shelf each side of the bed to put a glass of water on.

The check in process was simple. Very quiet, private and secluded in a lovely village. The property is very clean with everything you need for a few days away. The pub in the village is within walking distance. Everyone we met in the village was lovely. Able to do a number of walks in the area. High Lodge (about 20 minutes away) has a lot of good trails for walkers and cyclists. Highly recommend Great Hockham as a base to explore the area.
