A lovely location right next to the beach

It was a very quaint cottage, very comfortable and cosy overlooking the bay. The location was convenient for Skomer Island and there were a few good restaurants within walking distance. Communication was good

Nothing, it was great. It would be good to include the colour door in the booking as the name “Brook cottage” wasn’t visible on the building

We loved being right beside the sea, virtually on the beach. The front garden had a picnic bench to sit at and enjoy the views. The wood burner and the heating were very efficient at warming the cottage through quickly once we were home from our many walks (very necessary as we were in Dale in late November).

Possibly a bit more storage in the bedroom but we managed fine. The village pubs and cafes weren’t open because we were there out of season but we had been warned so it wasn’t really a problem.

Location right on the pebble beach, walking distance to pub. Lovely walks. Parking at property Cosy feel especially with log burner Bed was comfortable Easy to access using key box

A few cobwebs around especially under the bed, won’t take much to clear. Need a narrow, tall chest of drawers in the bedroom under the mirror for make up and toiletries to go on whilst getting ready. Bit of bleach needed around the bathroom sink and corner of showers as there’s black mould. Easily sorted. Instruction book needed for electric hob.

Really nice ambience. Nicely fitted out. Good cooking facilities. Just across the road from the sea. Nice to sit outside with a cup of tea.. Accepting of dog. Quiet. Within easy reach of Pembrokeshire Coastal Path; several circular walks which were challenging but not difficult. Plenty of sandy beaches. Griffin Inn is very welcoming and the food is very good even though only one veg option.

Log-burner is a lovely feature but i expected logs for burning (as an earlier Lake District cottage stay). That was disappointing but not the end of the world. The basin in the bathroom is so very small that it is difficult to wash in. No warning that one of the two restaurants was closing for the season as we arrived.

The location was excellent, you could hear the sea whilst lying in bed with the window open. A really quaint cottage with a homely feel to it.

The patio garden hadn’t been cut for sometime so didn’t make you want to sit outside Plus the patio furniture was dirty…..not been cleaned for a long time
