Hampton Inn & Suites Oroville

Good spread for breakfast. The water pressure in the shower was GREAT! Room was clean and comfortable. Great location with Starbucks, Dutch Bros, Maverick, McDonalds, and Wendy’s all within a 2 minute walk from hotel.

Nothing

Ants in my bed and shower on nightstand etc. Staff was rude. Cockroaches running on sidewalk outside hotel. Sticky loots. Sign on door stating skunks on property be aware. Front door continually locked which the staff said was to keep homeless people out. Shower had no water pressure and inconsistent temperature. Felt like the most unsafe, unsanitary hotel ever.

Overpriced

The breakfast was a full on hot breakfast with eggs, sausages, potatoes, waffles plus all the other usuals, pastries, cereals, toast, juices, and more that I can’t remember. The staff was was exceptionally accommodating and pleasant. There was a mistake on my billing but when I called the next day, the supervisor was so patient with me while on the phone trying to fix the bill. And she caught the error and corrected it right away. I would highly recommend the Hampton inn and suites in Oroville.

The only minor suggestion I would make is to have 2 chairs in the rooms that have 2 beds. There is plenty of room to add another chair in the room, as they are very large rooms.

Room was clean

Staff was rude. Multiple outlet failures.. Internet inoperable. Very poor connectivity. No control of guest behavior . Dogs barking all night in rooms... kids running and screaming down the halls late night.
