Thaalam-an ayurvedic Resort

We stayed in the resort for two days. I had great expectations from all the positive reviews. Our room floor was very sticky on the day of our arrival. Also the swing bed was just kept on the floor. The next day we asked the hotel staff to please clean the room and mop the floor. They had the whole day to do that. When we came back in the evening expecting a clean room, it was not even opened to even clear the dustbin. When we complained, a half hearted brooming was done. There is no in house restaurant. The breakfast buffet ( not a buffet spread) had just 3 or 4 items of sub par taste. The ayurvedic spa or reiki were not available. On our whole stay, we did not see anyone cleaning the swimming pool. Only good thing about the hotel was that it had decent parking, hot water and some scenic views.
