HOTEL CYRIL

The location is slightly out of town. However it was the festival of Pongal and there was a loudspeaker near my room making noise until 10.30 and from before 6 am. This was very difficult. The hotel is simple and I guess it is normally quiet

Attentive staff; bright and clean room; nice local breakfast; good value

No card payment; no hot water from overhead shower; loud music from nearby temple at 5am one morning; bit out of town but in quite interesting harbour area with a beautiful temple

Looks new property and they need to bring professionalism.

Except room size,nothing much to explain

Nothing at all. Bugs infrsted bed. Dirty looking pillows and sheet. The bathroom floor marble was all stained.

Staff was good. Though, they could barely communicate in English

It’s a pretty low-end hotel. Suits back packers. As such, it’s highly over priced. The breakfast serving area was filled with auto drivers dining with us .

Rooms were quite big..location was a bit far from the main market..breakfast was simple

Breakfast could have been better...location can be difficult for many as autos were not so easily available...also first night we couldn't sleep due to a puja in the temple beside the hotel which went on for the entire night with loud sounds and shouting via mic..

Rooms are as shown in the pictures and kept clean. The staff is friendly and the location of the hotel is not very far from the town center and is quiet enough for someone looking to relax
