This revamped motel is SO beautiful, unique, and quiet. Every corner of the property was carefully designed and the staff is super friendly and and accommodating. I would LOVE to come back.

amazing little hotel, everything you need. pool, hottub, good mattresses, bikes, drinks, music, continental breakfast, floaties in the pool, fire pits, cabanas, good bathrooms with rain shower heads, all the little touches were perfect. sunscreen and turkish towels at the pool won me over again, after I fell in love the first time.

One of the best hotels in Palm Springs! The location is perfect in my opinion as well. David has designed this hotel in an Old Hollywood style, where you feel transported into the lives of those who lived with lavish splendor in the past and you are living the luxury in the present. Everything is curated with intention and thoughtfulness. The best part is that we felt completely relaxed and at ease! David, Jeffrey and Kevin all come together to make sure your needs are met and you are having a beautiful experience. As other's have mentioned each room has it's unique character and style, you can't go wrong. The coziness of the hotel set up does not mean it's noisy, to the contrary, our rooms were solid and quiet. We stayed in the Liberace room and the bed was divine and it's lovely having a small little kitchenette as well (most rooms appeared to have this too). David hired Megan and Jason to sing in Bar Valerie and they were truly talented and a delightful addition. Kevin was rocking the cocktails at the bar, in perfect service and style. Enjoy every moment, it goes too fast!

My husband and I LOVED our stay at The Velvet Rope. The decor was absolutely gorgeous, so well thought out and a pleasure to experience. Everyone we interacted with on site was accommodating, pleasant and kind. Check in was easy and they held our bags for a couple hours when we showed up early and wanted to walk around the neighborhood. The pool was clean and warm. The room was well appointed. They were missing a couple of things—-a receptacle for used pool towels outside, and a trash can in the room. There was a small can in the bathroom but vacationers generate a bit more trash than that usually. I didn’t notice a recycle bin on site. There was not an obvious place to put dirty coffee mugs and silverware either. These are tiny and easily fixable things, and since the hotel just opened I’m sure they’ll be addressed soon enough. Highly recommend a stay here.

This is a very unique art deco property with plenty of character. Each room is different and the common area is as well. Staff is very friendly & helpful. Pool area very comfortable & stylish. I recommend giving it a try!
