"Hello, I would like to share our terrible experience staying at the Grand Continent in Hebbal, Bangalore. Despite paying ₹18,000 for two nights, which is close to the price of a 5-star hotel in the Bangalore tech park area, the services were worse than 1-star. Upon checking in at 4 PM, we immediately noticed a foul smell coming from the bathroom. Initially, we thought it might be something minor, but the smell persisted. There was a strong scent of perfume in the room when we entered, which masked the odor for a short while. We immediately requested a change of room, but we were told that nothing could be done as the hotel was fully booked. The next morning, we raised this again with the manager, pointing out that the heavy perfume must have been used intentionally to cover up the terrible smell, meaning the hotel management was already aware of the issue but still offered us the room. This is severe mismanagement and highly irresponsible, especially since this kind of exposure could pose serious health risks. We strongly discourage other customers from staying here and recommend finding alternative hotels in the area. We were so dissatisfied that we almost booked a room at the Hilton, but we had already paid for two nights, so we decided to stay. The manager shifted us to another room, but it had the same problem. After arguing with the staff, they offered us a third room and a complimentary breakfast, which was subpar. The entire experience was a nightmare. I even told the manager that I was prepared to go to the police and file a complaint, as the smell could potentially lead to serious consequences for their business. One of our biggest concerns was for our eight-year-old daughter, who had to endure this terrible environment. She was exposed to this unbearable smell all night before we were finally moved to an executive room on the second floor the next day. For families, I strongly urge you to avoid this hotel—it’s nowhere close to a 4-star...

The food was good, both for dinner and breakfast. Not many options but well-made.

The view from my room was a WALL of the adjacent property. I was told that the street view rooms have a traffic noise problem. And there is seemingly no room that falls in between a wall view or street view.
