Mansfield Hotel

Where do I even begin...When I came in, there was no one at the desk. It took a good minute before anyone came to greet us. The room itself...horrible. The tub had been painted with wall paint and was chipped and peeling, the sheets and pillows had holes and stains, the room itself was extremely humid, and we found mold in multiple places. Room service had even left trash in the closet, an empty can to be exact. We also were very disappointed because the pool was closed and we had not been told anything about it, which was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. The only good thing about the experience was the location. It was easy access to just about everywhere. Guess that's what I get for paying such a cheap price.

Advertised pool not functioning. Waffle maker not working. Milk spoiled. Donuts gone. So only breakfast left was toast… Got to room for first time, temperature was set to 60 degrees!!! Had to turn on heat and come back later. Tub was in poor condition

Locks not work on back door ,ice not working.

Very run down. My bedspread had a burn hole in it. Water stains on ceiling, wallpaper falling off wall. Curtains dirty, carpet dirty.

The staff was very responsive and helpful. This Quality Inn is under renovations and should improve, but in its current condition it needs some attention.

The condition of the room was horrific. Cracked and decaying walls, multiple cobwebs with large spiders in the bathroom, the toilet was falling out of the wall, and I wasn't even sure if the door would lock properly since it was falling out of the frame. I've stayed at a lot of cheap hotels, but this was exceptionally bad. Towels were yellow with stains and hair from other people. The water pressure was so ridiculously high that it was painful to stand still and let it rip into your skin. The room was falling apart. On the positive side, the room was cheap, the bedsheets were clean and I didnt see any bed bugs. This hotel needs some renovating.

Sufficient for a one night stay. Staff was friendly Room was not as clean as we like to see.

The pool was advertised as open and it’s permanently closed. Breakfast was supposed to be 7am to 10 am and the lady was cleaning it up at 915

Clean. Furniture and room was a little dated and air was a little musty but the AC helped. Make your own waffles in the breakfast bar was fun and delicious😀

The smell in the hotel just walking in the halls was unbearable. From the people that stayed in the hotel I’m assuming that lived there and left their doors propped open. I attempted to take a shower thinking my body wash and shampoo would help the smell in at least our space better. Bad mistake, the painted tub was peeling the drain was so clogged the tub started filling and holding water around my feet which grossed me out completely I had to move far from the drain so my feet were not in the standing in the murky cloudy water that was not from my body might I add, maybe dissolving paint or something in the drain coming back up. I tried not to think further. Every towel & wash cloth was stained. The chair in the room was stained with some kind of bodily fluid. I did not want to walk barefoot on the floor anywhere once I dried them I put my socks back on. My Husband was so uncomfortable he was ready to go the moment I got out and said he could not and would not sleep there. So we looked for another hotel while we drove away. When I took the key back and told her we can’t stay there we’re are leaving, all that was said was Sorry followed by You can’t stay here, she questioned, No ma’am we most definitely cannot. A Hotel this badly maintained and cleaned should not be allowed on Expedia IMO. Will we get a refund I assume not even though you clearly can see we paid for another room through the app shortly after. We took it as a loss.
