We booked two rooms online at $173 per room, plus an additional $100 incidental hold for each room. We checked in after 4 PM and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience from the start. The woman at the front desk showed no hospitality whatsoever — no smile, no greeting, and she appeared like she did not want to be there. Upon arrival, we were told that one of our rooms was not ready, even though we were supposed to have connected rooms next to each other. When we asked when the room would be available, her response was simply, “I don’t know.” That was extremely unprofessional, especially since we were traveling with kids. She told us she would call when the room was ready, but by 8 PM we still had not received any phone call. When we went back to the desk ourselves, she said another room was available, but it was not the room type we originally requested. There was no apology for the inconvenience, and instead we were met with attitude. Customer service can make or break a hotel experience, and unfortunately this employee is hurting the business rather than helping create a pleasant stay.
